Description
Are you eager to help businesses gain a competitive business edge? We seek an experienced Patent Attorney to join our dynamic legal team and work directly with the owner, attorneys and staff. Our firm is known for providing IP solutions to our clients and requires a Patent Attorney with the correct mindset and knowledge to tackle the job from the get-go. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance, and the hire must be ready to work collaboratively as a team member. Salary is commensurate with your level of experience in preparing patent applications, replying to patent office inquiries and understanding the PCT process. Bonus compensation is provided for those able to demonstrate their capability. We prioritize helping our team to grow and learn, though the current urgency of the position demands an expert with some relevant prior experience. Our firm's slogan is "From Beneath the Seas to Outer Space - Providing IP Solutions," boldly and broadly describes the breadth of our patent practice. Patent Agents with the right qualifications are also considered for the role. Preference is given to those who are able to also participate in litigation and trademark cases. Please write a two-paragraph cover letter including a closing sentence and detailing your understanding of the three most important qualities of someone who works with patent preparation and prosecution and why you think they stand out, as well as why you are the right fit for this ad. Finish it off with "I have read the instructions contained in the job posting and have followed the instructions."
