Fairview Health Services is searching for a hardworking RN who is looking for an exciting career in our Cancer Infusion Center in Burnsville, Minnesota campus! Our campus is just 20 minutes south of Minneapolis near the 35E and 35 W conjunctions. This location has been providing state-of-the art care and community services to the residents of Minnesota Valley since 1984.
This position is approved for 64 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible. Responsibilities/Job Description:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
- Assesses patient needs and identifies nursing outcomes.
- Develops an individualized nursing plan of care.
- Implements nursing interventions based on the plan of care.
- Evaluates care and patient(s) response to interventions and expected outcomes.
- Uses communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Demonstrates the ability to advance care by using standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to improve patient(s) outcomes.
- Promotes a culture of evidence-based practice (EBP) by participation in any of, but not limited to, the following activities:
- Applies evidence-based policies in clinical practice
Qualifications:
Required
- Minimum of 3 years working in oncology nursing.
- Current MN RN License
- BLS required.
