Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient's health condition
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems (such as Athenahealth) and ensure compliance with ICD-10 coding standards
- Educate patients and their families about various health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Assist with family planning services and provide counseling on reproductive health
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Provide specialized care for seniors, including monitoring vital signs, managing chronic conditions, and promoting overall wellness
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of [X] years of nursing experience in a clinical setting (experience in occupational health or senior care is a plus)
- Proficient in performing venipuncture and other clinical procedures
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 coding standards, and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (such as Athenahealth) is preferred
- Compassionate attitude towards patient care and dedication to providing high-quality services
