RN DETOX
Scottsdale, Arizona
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with withdrawal assessment experience to join our client's growing team. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients. Long-term contract schedule is Back End Nights (6:45 pm - 6:30 am) days vary.
Hourly rate of pay for this position is $55.00 per hour.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct client care in accordance with regulatory standards and follow policies and procedures
- Provide daily support and assistance to clients and observe and respond to client's physical, emotional and behavioral cues and actions
- Use the nursing process in providing client care - assess, plan, implement and evaluate
- Report patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift
- Execute prescribed treatments and medication interventions as established for each patient
- Report patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift
- Conduct detox admissions and provide patient care during patient detoxification process including pre-screening of patients, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, and monitoring of patient
- Record treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely
- Complete paperwork requirements as needed in an accurate and timely manner
- Communicates with nursing supervisors, nursing staff, and clinical staff regarding patients’ treatment and status
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols, including proper safety techniques, procedures and standard precautions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in withdrawal assessment/detox/psychiatric
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must know suboxone and buprenorphine
- RN License in the State of Arizona
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
