Responsibilities ofthe Registered Nurse
- Plan and implement the nursing process
- Give quality care to patients requiring intensivenursing care, in accordance with established policies and procedures offacility.
- Document and maintain consumer medical records,recording all changes as they occur.
- Make rounds with physicians, document medicationchanges, notify proper staff of changes.
- Handle emergencies.
Requirements of theRegistered Nurse
- Degree from an accredited nursing program in goodstanding
- Current BLS Certification
- At least 2 years of recent RN
- Must be able to act effectively in emergency situations
- Must have outstanding internal and external customerservice skills
Required experience:
- RN: 1 year
- RN Medical / Surgical: 1 year
Required licenses orcertifications:
- BLS for Healthcare Providers through American Heart Association
