This is a food production facility, nurses might be required to visit the plant floor to administer aid.
Summary:
Education: Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required. Occupational health nursing is the specialty practice that delivers health and safety programs and services to workers and worker populations. The practice focuses on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related and environmental hazards.
RN Duty Expectations:
- Weekly Plant Walk Through – walk through plant monitoring Team Members for Health and Safety
- Documentation – Accurate SOAP Notes via Computer and Paper
- Physical Assessments and treatments – Occupational injury and Illness assessments and follow up, Non Occupational assessments, Emergency Care
- Medication Administration and Documentation including vaccinations
- New Hire - Physicals with urine drug testing
Education: Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required.
Experience: Prefer 1+ years' experience in a nursing field, ideally ER/Urgent Care experience. Clinical hours can be acceptable for graduate nurses.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.
Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills. Must be able to work on their own and be comfortable making decisions, as they will be working on their own during this shift.
Physical Requirements: Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely fashion, sometimes throughout the plant.
