We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse - Specialty to join our team. As a Registered Nurse - Specialty, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients in critical care settings such as ICU, PCU, PICU, NICU, and ER. You must have at least 1 year of experience within the last 5 years in critical care and hold a valid and current Registered Nurse license. Please note that the security process for this position may take approximately 90 days, give or take.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current Registered Nurse license
- Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 5 years in critical care (ICU, PCU, PICU, NICU, ER, etc.)
- Must be a US Citizen
- Excellent knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals from various disciplines
- Proficient in medical software and electronic health records
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA). Additional certifications may be required depending on the department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in areas such as ICU, PCU, PICU, NICU, and ER, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and evaluate patient responses to interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers following established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs closely, recognize any changes or abnormalities, and take prompt and appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive interdisciplinary care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with various diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and emergency interventions as required.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in nursing practices and participate in professional development activities.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.
