As a Registered Nurse for an assisted living home, your responsibility is to uphold the company’s mission of providing the most excellent care as if the family member were your very own. The RN will maintain a schedule from 7:00am – 3:00pm Monday – Friday and may at times be on call during off scheduled hours on occasion. The ratio of nurse to patient ratio will be a maximum of 1:4.
Must have valid: RN License, Current CPR, Driver's License, and Fingerprint Card.
The general duties are explained below, but not limited to the following:
· Provide nursing services for 4 residents independently or with a caregiver.
o Provides caregivers with training/education opportunities.
o Ensuring all work policies and procedures are followed.
· Some Administrative Duties (Care plans, house/patient supplies, assist in orchestrating Doctor Appointments, etc)
o Medication management and audits
o Meal preparation by adhering to a meal calendar
o Work/train new staff members as needed
· Ensure Staff and Visitors are all adhering to our Policy and Procedures
· Manage the house inside and outside for cleanliness and adhere to all State Home Safety Inspections.
· Manage all State Requirements to ensure the facility stays in compliance with all rules and regulations.
· Follow directions or perform any other duties requested for the facility as directed by the Manager and Owner.
