Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
- Provides professional nursing care for surgical patients, maintaining an aseptic environment.
- Provides professional care of same day medical patients.
Education and/or Experience
- Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree.
- Basic Life Support required within six months of employment.
- Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.
- PALS education required within one year of employment.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the state of Iowa, or Multi-state licensure required.
Work Schedule
- Day shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- Every 3rd weekend (Every third weekend of call for the operating room)
- Every 3rd holiday (On call for the operating room)
- Call time (Approximately 10 days a month of call)
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $31.00 - $46.50 per hour
