Corporate Quality Assurance MDS Float NurseResponsibilities

• Responsible for oversight of the SNF facilities MDS assessment process including compliance of timely completion and submission of the MDS as required by regulation and requirements for reimbursement.
• Monitoring the facilities case mix and quality measures. Provides education and assistance and oversight of the UR process and the resident centered care plan process.
• With the Quality Assurance Director, makes recommendations for improvement to the Administrator and Director of Nursing of each facility.

Corporate Quality Assurance MDS Float NurseQualifications:

• Working knowledge of MDS, care planning, and PPS rules.
• Must be an RN OR LPN in the State of Ohio.
• Must be flexible
• The MDS Nurse must be a Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• 2 Years long-term care experience
