Description:
The NICU Registered Nurse RN at Saint Mary's Hospital assist Preterm and term neonates in need of additional medical and surgical management and highly specialized care are admitted to the unit.
What you will do:
- Attend births and provide care for infants with medical complications directly after birth
- Monitor the health of infants suffering from medical issues, such as prematurity or congenial defects
- Educate new parents on the care of their infant, including basic infant care, breastfeeding, and safety
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred
- Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut
- Certification: BLS CPR. ACLS Preferred
- Experience: NICU experience required
