Unit Details & Job Responsibilities:
4 South Center is a neuro med/surg telemetry unit. This unit focuses on general med/surg telemetry, neuro, urology, and post-operative care. The Registered Nurse will:
- Monitor and interpret patient rhythms, administering prescribed cardiac medications and telemetry drips.
- Apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and assess patient care with a focus on hemodynamic statuses.
- Take full responsibility for nursing care outcomes and provide guidance to unlicensed personnel.
- Swiftly recognize and assist patients in shock or facing life-threatening complications.
Qualifications:
- License: Active Illinois RN License
- Experience: New graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
- Certification: BLS required prior to start date.
- Education: ASN
Schedule:
- Night Shift (open to new graduates): 7pm-7:30am
Pay Scale: Starting at $34.75 for new graduates, with competitive increases based on experience. During your initial phone call with a recruiter, we'll provide a detailed pay scale that aligns with your expertise and skills.
- Shift Differentials: Weekday night shift - $3.75; weekend night shift - $6.00
