Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member.
As a Med/Surg Rn you will be responsible for:
- Administering medication and treatments
- Admitting and assessing patients
- Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
- Running and ordering tests
- Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
- Charting Patient Progress
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Paying attention to detail and staying organized when managing patient care and record keeping
- Compassionately communicating with patients and family members.
- Understanding applicable state regulations and following compliance practices
- Assessing patient condition and noting it accurately according to the facility's charting practices
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred.
- Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state. BLS required. ACLS preferred.
