General Summary of Position
*Full-time day role available: three 12-hour shifts & every 3rd weekend, 7a-7:30p and 8a-8:30p
Vascular Access (VAT)/IV Therapy Team Highlights

Some functions include: IV ultrasound, port access, dressing changes, non-tunnel line pulls upon discharge amongst others
IV Therapy RNs don't carry a patient load and float to all units in the hospital

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivers proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex;identifies current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations; critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing required; bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred. Bachelor's degree in nursing enrollment required within 6 months of start date and completion within 3 years

Experience

• 1-2 years RN experience required. 1+ years of phlebotomy RN experience strongly preferred, but open to training RNs with critical care or emergency nursing experience

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment Upon Hire required and
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation by completion of introductory period required. ACLS a bonus

required
KSAs

• Basic math skills, verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills required
