Within our ICU, our Registered Nurses are responsible for caring for patients who have many different diagnoses including, but not limited to, sepsis, overdoses, withdrawals, and surgical patients who need a higher level of care. Our complex patients require continuous hemodynamic monitoring, intense medication management, ongoing critical thinking, and excellent communication with team members and families. This is a fast-paced and highly technical medical environment.
Schedule: This position will be working 0.6 FTE (48 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the Night shift. This position will also work a rotation for every 3rd weekend and a holiday rotation.

- 18 beds mixed acuity
- Ages 18+
- Patient average length of stay: 3-4 days
- Patient Population: Vents, codes, respiratory failures, septic patients, shock, unstable post surgicals, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,diabetics
- Usually 7-14 patients a day, however we are going to be increasing these numbers

- Assessing patient needs and identifying expected nursing outcomes;

- Associate degree in Nursing
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid RN Licensure from MN Board of Nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association
- Preceptor experience
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience
