Job Summary:
To safely provide and guide direct care of the patient in the inpatient hospital setting including, but not limited to, implementation of plans of care, delivery of interventions, and medication administration.
- Participates as a team member in support of patient outcomes and experiences
- Plans care in order to meet the needs of patient safely and effectively
- Considers cost containment by using resources appropriately
- Maintains patient privacy and ensures confidentiality of protected information
- Monitors for changes in patient condition and carries out ordered interventions appropriately
- Accurately documents patient condition and responses to delivered interventions
- Keeps the multidisciplinary team updated as to progress toward goals of care
- Participates in facility trainings and learning opportunities
Requirements:
- RN with active license in the State of Ohio
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
