Registered Nurse (Rn) Icu

Need REGISTERED NURSE for Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley - Tehachapi, CA

For Start Date - 03/11/2024

Need - ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS - With at least 2 years of ICU experience

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing diagnostic evaluations, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols
- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, suture removal, and specimen collection
- Monitor and assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to ventilate patients and provide basic life support measures
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and interpretation of test results
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatments or ophthalmology is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in ICU or assisted living facilities is beneficial

Salary: $75.00 - $76.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
