Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
This job is located in Newberg, OR
As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will be a vital member of the healthcare team, providing specialized care to critically ill patients. Your clinical expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate approach will make a significant impact on patient outcomes in our intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, including those on life support systems.
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage ventilator settings as per physician orders.
• Perform complex interventions such as central line insertions and arterial lines.
• Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests, providing timely updates to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and codes within the ICU.
• Foster a supportive and caring environment for patients and their families during times of crisis.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
• Participate in educational programs and in-services to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

• Qualifications:

• Active RN license in OR.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (if applicable).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Previous experience in an ICU or critical care setting is highly valued.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
