The Healthplex Springfield is looking for an Emergency nurse. Full Time, Nights.
This Free Standing Emergency Unit services the local community:
80-105 patients a day, with approximately 20% pediatric patients.
24 bed unit - including fast track
Average LOS 96 mins
4-5:1 patient to nurse ratio
Ventilator trained nursing and EMT staff

As an Inova Nurse you will:
Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team
Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner
Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
Requirements :
Requires a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required CEN/ACLS certification desired. Issued by the American Heart Association.
Proficient in English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
Proficient computer skills required.
