Form of workThe EP Lab at UH Elyria Medical Center performs a variety of state of the art procedures giving our team a well-rounded experience in coronary rhythm diagnosis and treatment procedures. The EP lab is a small group of nurses and RTs who work together to diagnose and treat cardiac rhythm issues. The EP lab is a procedural environment where you work closely with the procedural physicians and your other team members to deliver excellent results for our patients. There is no holiday, weekend, or call requirement, and assigned late days are divided evenly amongst the team.
- Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
- Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.
- Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
- Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
- Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
- Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. ACLS/PALS may be required based on clinical area standards.

- 1 year RN experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio required.
- Current BLS and ACLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association or must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
- Preferred experience: ICU, ED, Cath/EP Lab; will orient nurses to critical care if no critical care experience
- Professional Certification from approved organization preferred.
Shift:
- Hours: 4-9 hours shifts
- 8 hours: 0630-1600
- No Call Requirement
