We are looking for a highly motivated Registered Nurse to provide medical oversight, staff training, and coordination of medical care for the youth that reside at the Crisis Center. The Nurse should possess organizational skills, and have a strong desire to be part of a team in caring for youth with social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
Job Description:
- Responsible to lead the Crisis Center medical needs as established by Crisis Center, State and Licensing requirements
- Collaborate and communicate professionally with Crisis Center management, staff, referral sources, and medical professionals
- Complete nursing admission for newly admitted youth
- Oversee medications and documentation
- Assess youth injuries and illness and make recommendation regarding initial treatment, referral for further medical attention, and follow up
- Coordinate transfer of youth to hospital for emergency medical care when indicated
- Complete post restraint assessments and document accordingly
- Oversee all necessary medical, dental, visual, and psychiatric appointments and prepare medical reports as needed
- Prepare medication for youth as they go on pass or discharge
Qualifications:
- Indiana RN Licensing in good standing (Bachelor's Degree)
- CPR Trainer preferred
- Valid Driver's License
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- Indiana RN Licensing in good standing (Preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Standard shift:
- Day shift
Supplemental schedule:
- Holidays
Weekly schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- Bachelor's (Required)

- Nursing: 5 years (Required)
