- Leadership: Contributes to the efficient operation of the patient care area, delegating responsibilities to appropriate members of the care delivery team based upon an understanding of others' roles, scope of practice, knowledge, and capabilities to ensure optimal utilization of personnel. Applies the principles of case management to patient care, and has the autonomy, capability, and motivation to be identified as one of the principle care givers for the patient providing and/or referring services across the continuum of care.

- Responsible for adhering to all radiation protection standards and for donning all radiation protection apparel inclusive of wearing and changing of current monitoring devices.

- Radiology Specific:
- ACLS required
- Cardiac monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Moderate sedation administration and monitoring
- Radiation safety precautions
- Conducts interviews and completes charts
- Ability to function in all labs in Radiology/CT lab
- Radiology Specific:
- Must have basic computer skills and ability to access internet and other programs applicable to Waterbury Hospital procedures.
- Perform automated functions that fall within job responsibility.
