Registered Nurse Prn/Part Time

Summary/Objective:

We are looking for a capable, hardworking and friendly Registered Nurse to join our team as a PRN/backup. This role will play an important role in communicating effectively with patients and staff, and maintaining an organized administrative schedule. The ideal candidate will assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or Nurse Practitioner. They will prepare and assist in the set up of infusion rooms for the examination and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

*Perform opening and closing procedures for the practice to include: turning on systems, checking voicemail and returning calls, checking emails and responding in a timely manner, organizing reception areas, reviewing schedules and completing prep work for following day *Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients *oversee the patient triage, from scheduling appointments and assist with referral processing, and arrange laboratory services *Prepare patients for examination or infusion, take vitals, and record patients' health history *Prepare equipment and infusion rooms and clean equipment and infusion rooms. *Assist Practitioner with preparing patients for infusions, procedures, or exams. *Manage inventory of medical supplies and stock infusion rooms with appropriate supplies *Responsible to administer Injections or IV fluids as directed by Practitioner. *Responsible to for patient follow up and lead phone calls to prospective patients. *Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

*Registered Nurse Degree in Good standing *Proven working experience an RN *Excellent IV skills *Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work *Availability to be scheduled as a PRN backup as needed during weekdays, evenings and occasional weekends. *BLS and ACLS

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the our clinic. You will support Practitioners and medical assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Hours will be variable between 9am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday for in office hours. Availability in the evenings/weekends for concierge infusions if interested.

Job Type: PRN - no guranteed hours.
