SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems. This position is responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum one year of experience preferred
- Pediatrics clinic experience preferred
- Bilingual skills desirable
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program, BSN strongly preferred
- Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
- Basic Life Support Certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
POSITION DETAILS: Full time, 80 hours per pay period, day shift, Clinic hours are Mon - Fri
PAY RANGE: $36.00 - $62.00
