    UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our Pediatrics Clinic.
    WORK SCHEDULE
  • Per diem schedule / variable hours per week
  • Monday – Friday only
  • Day shifts (8:00am – 5:00pm)
  • Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays
    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    Our Pediatrics Clinic provides comprehensive primary and specialty care for babies, children, teenagers, and young adults to age 21. Our services include well-child checkups, developmental screenings, acute illness treatment, school and sports evaluations, environmental health consults, pediatric allergy assessments, guidance on behavioral concerns, and hearing and vision screenings.
    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Educate patients and their families on ongoing healthcare needs
  • Assist our providers with routine pediatric assessments
  • Administer pediatric vaccinations
  • Handle pediatric phone triage on a daily basis
  • Provide nursing advice in person, via phone and via telehealth
  • Answer patient calls and eCare messages
  • Follow up on medical records and test results
  • Manage prescriptions and referrals
    REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years of pediatric nursing experience
  • Active BLS
  • Active PALS
  • Active licensure to work as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
