Your Impactful Responsibilities:

A. Consciousness Monitoring:

• Monitor post-operative patients' levels of consciousness during recovery from anesthesia.

B. Vital Signs Management:

• Measure and record patients' vital signs to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their post-operative condition.

C. Anesthesia Side Effects Observation:

• Closely observe patients for signs of side effects related to anesthesia medication, promptly addressing any concerns.

D. Symptom Management:

• Skillfully treat post-operative symptoms, including pain and nausea, ensuring patients' comfort and well-being.

E. Documentation Excellence:

• Update charts, patient files, and medical records meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.

F. Collaboration with Medical Team:

• Collaborate effectively with the medical team to provide comprehensive post-operative care and facilitate timely specialized interventions.

G. Comfort and Reassurance:

• Provide comfort and reassurance to distressed post-operative patients and concerned family members, fostering a supportive environment.

H. Patient and Family Education:

• Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care, addressing questions and providing guidance for a smooth recovery process.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active California RN license
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant PACU nursing experience
• CPR or BLS Certification
• ACLS and PALS Certification
• Recent Physical and TB Test (within one year)
• Willingness to travel within a 20-30 mile radius
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• Full COVID vaccination with booster shot
