- Supporting patient care in our Outpatient Cardiology Clinic Boston & Satellite Locations.
- Provide team–based care to patients with symptoms requiring cardiology evaluation and patients with known congenital or acquired heart disease and arrhythmias.
- Pre-clinic preparation, attendance at clinic session, nursing assessment, patient and family education, anticipatory guidance, care coordination and follow-up care.
- Completing the pre-anesthesia screening process for patients undergoing anesthesia echocardiograms, CTs, and Implantable Cardiac Devices.
- Eventual training into the Charge Nurse role.
- Approximately 25% of time spent completing triage phone calls from parents and outside providers.
- Working 40 hours per week: four 10-hour shifts in Boston and at satellite locations. Satellite locations vary and may include: Waltham, Peabody, Lexington, Weymouth, Norwood, Dartmouth, Milford.
To qualify, you must have:
- BSN degree and MA RN License.
- 1-2 years of ambulatory or inpatient pediatric nursing experience preferred, with preference for pediatric acute care.
- Pediatric cardiac experience preferred
- BLS required, PALS required after 1 year.
