JCMG is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse or Registered Dietitian to work within our Weight Treatment Center. Hours are Monday- Thursday 10:00 am-6:00pm.
Salary is based on experience.
Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits, including insurance, 148 PTO hours per year, 56 hours of paid Holidays per year including the day after Thanksgiving, and an Employee Retirement Plan (401K) with employer match. Tuition reimbursement and a grow our own Medical Assistant Program.
Specific Competencies:
Takes patient’s weight, blood pressure(s), and blood sugar logs.
Identifies problematic side effects related to weight loss and offers recommendations as appropriate within respective Scope of Practice in the State of Missouri; refers to PCP as appropriate.
Appropriate medical record documentation
Provides appropriate safety and infection control measures
Ability to talk one on one with patients, in person and on phone, regarding weight loss and program start-up/review
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program or dietetics program
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one year experience as a licensed professional
Prefer previous experience in a weight management or willingness to learn
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Registered Dietitianin the State of Missouri
Current BLS certification
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Personal qualities: empathy and compassion for obese individuals
Desire to promote weight loss program(s)
