Registered Nurse, Operating Room

Job Summary:

-Local Pay Rate: $82.00/hr

-Travel Gross Wkly Pay:$2802

-*Overtime hours require recalculation of pay package

-13-week contract

*Notes: TNCC required Orientation is 7am-3pm followed by two buddy shifts during the daytime.*

-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

-Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia administration during surgery
- Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
- Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Document patient information accurately and timely
