Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operating Room for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, providing support and maintaining a sterile environment
- Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the surgical process
- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon or anesthesiologist
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of MA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting
- Knowledge of ambulatory surgery center protocols and procedures
- Proficiency in airway management techniques
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,100.00 per week
