Staff Today Inc. is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a facility in Johnstown , New York. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today Inc.

Shift details:
- Day/Evening Shift
- Assessing inmate and staff medical complaints
- Taking off (noting) MD orders and prescriptions, entering lab work and creating requisitions
- Administering medications
- End of shift narcotics, sharps and tool counts
- Emergency sick call and emergency medical responses, utilize AED
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft programs, and able to learn a DOS based program
- Vaccinations
- Wound care
- Diabetic care
- Inmate health teaching and evaluation
- A minimum of one year of acute care RN experience (Medical/Surgical, ER, ICU), an annual TB test and CPR certification is required.
- Compliance with all security directives is a must and the candidates must be dependable.
- Previous experience/employment working in NYS DOCCS is a plus.
