Registered Nurse - Mental Health

Northeast 4 has 18 private rooms/bathrooms (some handicapped accessible), two jail cells, separate dining and day room space, a spacious group room, a comfort room, and open areas for visiting and relaxing. In addition, patients have access to a large activity room and secured outdoor space. Patients on this unit are 18 years and older and are experiencing an acute Mental Health illness with high acuity and requiring intensive care. In addition, our patients may have medical/surgical conditions that are being treated and require intervention.

We treat all mental illnesses in adults at our state-of-the-art facility which means we can provide comprehensive, personalized care for all our patient’s needs, no matter how complex.

Work Schedule: 0.80 Day/Evening, every other weekend. All 8 hour shifts.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Nursing
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
• One year of acute care RN experience is preferred
