Orientation
- 2 days of orientation in the classroom
- No on-unit orientation
COVID vaccine and 1 booster REQUIRED
Float to Trauma, Cardiac, Neuro, Surgical, Ortho, and Cancer Care units. Max 6:1 patient to nurse ratio. Required Experience: Medical management of chest pain, blood pressure, electrolyte imbalances, electrolyte replacement- PO and IV nurse drive heparin gtt protocol dysrhythmia course/interpretation of tele strips EKG IV push antihypertensive medications blood draws placement and maintenance of IVs Maintenance of PICC lines, Central Lines, Ports Trach management Chest Tubes.
Required Exp. : 3 years of recent Tele RN experience at busy level 1 Trauma facility
License/ Cert Requirement:
- Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse);
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification,
- Current ACLS American Heart Association
