Registered Nurse (Rn) Rapid Response Team Part Time Night

Job Summary

The Rapid Response Nurse is part of an expert clinical team in the acute care area, whose main goal is to prevent deaths and arrest hemodynamic decline in patients outside of the critical care units. The RR Nurse are experts in assessment and have clinical skills in implementing early interventions to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest

EDUCATION

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

BSN

REQUIREMENTS

Current and active NJ RN licensure

BLS and ACLS Certification required

Mininum (4) four years recent/current Emergency or Critical Care experience required

Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills

Utilization of advanced knowledge, clinical decision-making sills to address complex patient care problems

Excellent clinical skills initiating intravenous access, defibrillation, and suctioning

Mentoring of novice nurses in the acute care setting

Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment independently and to quickly respond to urgent calls anywhere in the acute care facility

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to be an integral part of the Rapid Response Team and Acute Care providers

Goal and outcome oriented
