Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for providing expert care to expectant mothers during all stages of Labor and Delivery. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and successful delivery of newborns.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Monitor fetal heart rates and provide support to mothers during labor
• Administer medication and assist with pain management
• Assist with the delivery of newborns and provide immediate care to both mother and baby
• Educate new mothers on postpartum care and breastfeeding
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the overall well-being of mothers and babies

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license
• BSN degree preferred
• Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
