A Day in the Life of a Parts Driver Representative:
Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 / hour DOE
- Deliver parts to the customer while maintaining appropriate paperwork and the customer's signature
- Pickup parts from customers to be returned to the department with the appropriate paperwork and signature
- Assist in warehouse duties as necessary
- Responsible for parts service to customers and mechanics
- Will communicate effectively with both customers and internal members by telephone and in person, to sell company parts and other services
- Stage loading of a pick-up truck; load and/or unload
- Display a helpful, courteous attitude toward customers and co-workers
- Inquire about customer needs as related to additional sales, services, etc.
- Utilize marketing promotional materials
- Pickup check when delivering parts to the customer that is on credit hold
- Stock and organize shelves when needed
- Pack parts for shipping or delivery
- Provide parts service to mechanics and parts customers as needed
- Appearance must always be clean, neat, and well-groomed
- Maintain routine maintenance on the truck and is responsible for keeping the truck clean and neat inside and out
- Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of the dealership
