The Registered Nurse coordinates and administers quality patient and family care that is compassionate, holistic, respectful and value-driven. Has confident communication skills and acts as a patient advocate. The RN utilizes the nursing process to perform assessment of the patient's physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs; planning, development and implementation of a multi-disciplinary plan of care; and evaluation of the patient's response to care. Strives to excel in skill performance, personal growth and professional excellence.
Education Required: Graduate of an approved school of nursing, BSN preferred or working on.
Related Years of Experience Required: Previous ICU experience required, two years experience in Acute Care preferred.
Credential/Licensure Required: Is currently licensed or able to become licensed to practice as an RN in Wisconsin; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification;
Shift: Working 30 or 36 (Flexible) hours a week, 12 hour shifts, working the night shift with rotating wkends and holidays. The PM shift differential is 10% and Night shift differential is 17% of hourly rate of pay. Shifts: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. OR 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
