We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Registered Nurse--Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to join the Mountainside Team!

What You'll Do

The Registered Nurse, ICU will be responsible for...Promoting and restoring patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends and families and supervising assigned team members.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to patients
• Develop individualized patient plans of care
• Provide education consistent with the patient/family's learning abilities and preferences
• Administer medications in an accurate and timely manner
• Document patient's medical record in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner
• Transcribes, verifies and carries out physician orders in an accurate and timely manner
• Perform any and all other duties assigned

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of intensive Care Unit experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and recent acute care nursing experience preferred
• Graduate of a National League for Nursing/American Association of Colleges for Nursing accredited program
• Current valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification upon hire and maintain active status
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current preferred
