Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Our client is seeking a full-time Home Health RN in Livingston/Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will provide skilled nursing care, demonstrate effective communication and collaboration, and maintain patient safety. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. The candidate should have experience in Home Health care. This position will service the following coverage areas; Livingston/Roseland, NJ and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care to a specified (or variety) of age and diagnostic groups
● Utilize principles of the nursing process to assist in data collection, planning, and evaluation of nursing care
● Demonstrate nursing knowledge and skills in the implementation of prevention, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care
● Utilize effective interviewing techniques; sets limits, and collects data based on specific role
● Communicate and collaborate effectively with health care providers, third parties, patients, and families based on specific role
● Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients
● Observe patients, records significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or Physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents
● Respond to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
● Use oral and written communications to convey pertinent information to members of the healthcare team in a timely manner

● Equipment Provided: Tablet, Phone
Schedule and Shift Details
● 8:30a-4:30p, 1-2 Saturdays a month
● Including working one summer and one winter holiday
