Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Title:Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Hospital – ICU
Location: Charleston, SC
Schedule: Full-time nights with rotating weekends
Pay: Competitive based on experience, and generous employer-paid benefits
The ICU RN will be responsible for the following duties:
-Understand patients with critical illness and vent management
-Respond to Code Blue within the facility and initiate protocol, special procedures and cardiac monitoring
-Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions
-Administer medication, educate patients and their families, maintain and review patients’ records
REQUIREMENTS:
-ASN/BSN and SC/compact RN license
-Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting
-BLS upon hire, ACLS obtained 6 months of hire
