Registered Nurse - Infusion
Duties:
- Administer intravenous medications and fluids to patients
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy and assess their response to treatment
- Perform venipuncture and insert intravenous catheters
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures and self-care techniques
- Document patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Skills:
- Proficient in occupational health and providing quality patient care
- Experience with venipuncture and IV catheter insertion
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with family planning services and related procedures
- Experience using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth
- Competency in performing spinal taps (lumbar punctures) as needed
- Strong understanding of nursing standards and best practices
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to senior care
