We are seeking a(an) Registered Nurse House Supervisor PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary and Qualifications

• As a member of our team, you will respond to potential and/or actual emergencies with direct and appropriate actions. Is familiar with the incident command structure and is able to perform as initial incident commander in disaster/emergency events.
• You will display your strong and accurate clinical judgment and expert-nursing skills while following company polices including those related to confidentiality (written, verbal, electronic and digital).
• In collaboration with your healthcare team, you will facilitate patient admissions, transfers and staffing needs.
• You will provide coaching and manage staff performance as opportunities arise.
• You will support staff in adoption of all Quality Initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• You will support hospital and nursing annual strategic plans, professional practice model, shared governance and essential nursing administrative functions.
• You will collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care for an effective and current plan of care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program is required.
  
• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing is preferred.
  
• Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required.
  
• 3 years of RN experience is required. 
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 4 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required. 
• Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
