Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is currently hiring a Registered Nurse for Cornell 3- our MedSurg Unit! This is a Rotating shift position (12 hour) in Charlottesville, VA. Shift Rotation is 6 weeks of Days then 6 weeks of nights.
Cornell 3: Cornell 3 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for a diverse patient population with a specialty in post-op Bariatric Surgeries (Gastric Sleeves and Bypass), Abdominal Surgeries (Colon Resections, Ostomy Creation, plastic), Reconstructive Surgeries (Breast Reconstruction), Gyn Surgeries (Hysterectomy and Myomectomy), and Wound Care (Ostomy Care and Wound vacs). We also do Epilepsy Monitoring to rule in or out a seizure disorder.

Requirements:
New Hire Education Requirement: All new RNs who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to enrollment in an accredited RN to BSN program within 24 months of hire and successfully obtaining their BSN within 5 years of hire.

Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
- Registered Nurse License
- Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
