Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for a Registered Nurse, RN, to float between the emergency department, medical-surgical department, surgical department, and outpatient nursing services based on departmental needs. Orientation and assignments to each department are dependent upon manager approval. RN will demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization; remain flexible to changing systems; and is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice. Treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect. The daily unit assignment will be determined by the Charge nurse on the Medical-Surgical Unit.

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Graduated from a certified nursing School or program.
- Have and maintain Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) / Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
- One year of experience in Med/Surg and Emergency nursing experience is required..
- Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.
Shift: Three 12-hour shifts
1 day shift positions
1 night shift positions
This is a Full-Time position that is eligible for benefits. * SCHHC pays the full employee-only amount for Health, Dental, Vision, and Basic Life & AD&D insurance. *
