Position: Registered Nurse Resource Float Pool
Location: St. Agnes Medical Center, 1303 E Herndon Ave. Fresno, CA 93720
Shift: 12 Hour shifts, self-scheduling
Pay Range: Depends on experience between $44.23 – $64.14 plus benefits
*May be adjusted based on career ladder placement

Position Requirements:
License: CA RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (within 1 year)
Experience: 1 year of related or direct patient care experience as RN
Education: Associates required
About the Unit
Will Float to all Med/Surg/Tele, Critical Care and ED units in the hospital. Qualified talent will also float to ED. Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, this position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of each assigned patient; supervising, coordinating and guiding the activities with nursing staff members; and implementing the philosophy, goals and standards of care of the units.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family, and health care personnel is required.
- Ability to handle varying issues in the midst of any situation and work effectively individually and as a member of a team within a stress-producing environment is required.
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on med-surg units across.
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
