Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the general health and well-being of residents through the delivery of comprehensive and high-quality services in a inpatient care setting and mentor nursing assistants. To excel in this role, you should have an interest in health care and keep the patient's needs as your top priority. As a Solantra employee, you will be responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.
What You’ll Do
- The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to patients and residents including but not limited to administering medication and treatment for inpatient care.
- Provide all patient care in a manner that reflects respect for patient rights, dignity, values, culture preferences, and expressed needs
- Assess patient's physical, psychological, and social needs
- Assess pain and implement appropriate pain management techniques
- Develop, implement, and revise care plans that reflect patient's diagnosis and outlined standards of care
- Involve patients and/or significant others in decisions regarding care
- Document patient history, symptoms, assessments, tests, and care according to guidelines
- Review patient history, diagnostics, and lab data, and report any abnormalities
- Educate patient and family on managing injuries and illnesses to ensure a safe and successful discharge
- Administer medicine and treatment to patients
What You’ll Need
- A valid NC nurse license or compact license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Must consent to and pass a pre-employment drug screen
- The ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions and to legibly, accurately, and concisely maintain nursing records and charts
- Flexibility - you must adapt to changing workloads and/or interruptions
- A valid driver's license
