Registered Nurse

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Registered Nurse! This role is in Pinehurst, NC. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

 

Type:                     3-month contract with opportunity for extension or full time offer

Pay:                       $36 - $42 per hour based on experience

Hours                    8:00 AM – 5:00PM Monday – Thursday 8:00AM – 2:00PM Friday

 

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

·       Starting IVs

·       Assisting with moderate sedation

·       Drug counts, drawing up medications.

·       Main responsible party for checking crash cart or act as support person.

·       Reviews schedule at least one week in advance and prepare as necessary (make sure implants, abutments, splints, stents, etc. are available at the appropriate office).

·       Assists doctors with surgical procedures (extractions, biopsies, implants, bone grafts, etc.); suction, irrigation, pass instruments, cut sutures, etc.

·       Performs office procedures as directed (remove surgical splints, fit splints, remove sutures, place packs, etc.).

·       Assists doctors in OR cases.

·       Communicates with sales reps and OR staff to notify of special needs for OR cases.

·       Prepares patient and room set-up for appropriate procedure/exam.

·       Reviews post-op instructions with surgery patients.

·       Reviews charts/paperwork before doctor sees patient; completes appropriate paperwork.

·       Collects and enters comprehensive and precise information into the electronic medical record (EMR).

·       Utilizes the EMR and any supplementary clinical applications relevant to daily job duties.

·       Participates in all mandatory EMR and clinical application training and optimization opportunities.

·       Helps in workroom and with restocking clinical supplies.

·       Utilizes computer system (time clock, reviewing schedules, scheduling appointments, etc.).

·       Adheres to OSHA, HIPPA, and all office policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:

·       Associates degree in nursing

·       Graduate of accredited school of nursing

·       Current North Carolina RN license

·       ACLS and PALS

·       CPR Certification

·       Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification (DAANCE) or willing to obtain within one year of hire date

·       Ambulatory or Oral and Maxillofacial surgery experience

·       NC dental x-ray certification

Pay Details: $36.00 to $42.00 per hour
