Top Client in need of a Registered Nurse Emergency Room in Denton Full-time Night Shift, 7 pm - 7 amPosition Summary: The Registered Nurse - Emergency Room - RN ER is responsible for decisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice. Important aspects of this responsibility are the promotion of a safe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients and providers of nursing care; acquisition of specialized knowledge skills and additional formal education to provide specialized care; demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice; clinical practice consistent with the policies, procedures and standards of this facility; and supervision of other staff as designated within the department.
Qualifications: Licensed RN by the State of Texas or compact state BSN required1 year of emergency room acute care experience preferred BLS required. Specialty certification encouraged
Special Notes: Skills from other units that they feel will prepare the candidate for their unit: Backgrounds need to be emergency medicine. If desperate they will look at heavy ICU background. What has and hasn't worked with personality/skill types: No TNCC is a flag they would not be qualified for this role. Level II or I trauma is best but will look at level 3 or 4 if desperate.
