Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Registered Nurse Clinical Department Administrator ***.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience required.
This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA. Must be flexible with schedule and have the ability to travel to a total of 5 different offices (all local). About 50% travel required for this position.
Responsibilities:
A Day in the life of a Registered Nurse Clinical Department Administrator:
As the Registered Nurse Clinical Department Administrator, you will work directly with the Department Administrator and collaboratively with the Division Directors and Department Chairman. This senior management position will take responsibility for the clinical operations of the department to include coordination and management of staff performance in all areas where clinical services are rendered. Also responsible for assisting the Administrator II with daily financial and business-related activities, as needed, and in their absence. The main office for this position is in the heart of Norfolk, VA downtown!
Requirements for the Registered Nurse Clinical Department Administrator:
- Required: 5+ years of experience in a clinical management role
- Required: Registered Nurse License
- Required: Management of clinical staff
- Required: BLS
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
- Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
- Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications for the Registered Nurse Clinical Department Administrator:
- Preferred: MBA or MHA preferred but not required
- Preferred: Surgical practice experience preferred
Benefits:
- $40.87 - $43.27 an hour (85K to 90K annual)
