Now hiring: experienced, civilian Registered Nurse for the TRICARE Suffolk Outpatient Clinic in Suffolk, Virginia.
Facility Details:
- Patient ages range from newborn to geriatric
- Military insured beneficiaries
- Labs, pharmacy & imaging on site
Position Details:
- Per Diem (PRN)
- Flexible Schedule
- 7AM to 7 PM
- 8 or 12 hour shifts
- No on-call!

- Check patients into the clinic and triage using clinic guidelines.
- Inform the nurse or physician of the patient’s condition and potential problems.
- Obtain and document patient and pertinent family history.
- Perform a full range of diagnostic support duties which include taking vital signs, collecting specimens, obtaining, recording and tracking results of diagnostic tools.
- Possess a minimum of one (1) year of primary care, urgent care or ambulatory Outpatient Clinical experience within the last two (2) years.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification by the American Heart Association.
- Be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Possess a current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any one (1) of the fifty (50) States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
